Infra & System Management Engineer

Job Purpose

Handling first and second level support for infrastructure and system in production and disaster recovery data centers to ensure the availability and reliability of services are within the agreed OLA in order to assist and support in the strategic planning, business innovation and reengineering effort for current and future business activities.

Job Description (Accountability)

• Manage and plan infra,  server and system administrator maintenance activities and projects
• Performs analysis of network needs and contributes to design of network architecture, integration and installation.
• Evaluates network hardware (Cisco, Aruba) and software requirements and capabilities and makes recommendations. Checks systems in order to optimize performance and to initiate recovery action after system failures..
• Provides support to and trains users in local area network administration and usage.
• Prepares and maintains documentation of network configurations and cabling layouts.
• Evaluate and analyze security incidents
• Manage storage (HPE Nimble) and backup jobs (Veeam)
• Perform, maintains and tests disaster recovery plans.
• Provide 3rd level support
• Liaise and coordinate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
• Trains users in the operations of office productivity applications.

Education

Experience

• • At least 5 years working experiences with two years of supervisor level
  • Proven working experience in managing and implementing infrastructure project.
  • Proven working experience in handling Windows and Linux based environments, virtualization, networking, Oracle database and Active Directory
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Knowledge and experience in ISO27001:2022 Information Security Management System, ISO20000:2018 Information Technology Service Management System and ITIL will be an advantage 

Knowledge
