Job Purpose

HRBP Overseas Sub-Lead supervises and provides guidance to local human resources specialists in multiple countries within an assigned region.  He/She partners with country business leaders to provide strategic advice & people solutions as well as ensuring alignment of people strategy with business strategy.
He/She takes direction and work with central COE and local HR team to implement and adapt the global policies and procedures and roll out HR global initiatives and practices across the region.

Job Description (Accountability)

1 Partner with the Local HR to craft human resource strategies such as organization design, workforce planning, job performance improvement, HR capacity development, etc. 
2 Serve as a strategic partner to provide advice and counsel to business leaders/Local HR to maximize staffing resources and performance. 
3 Collaborate with Central COE to design and implement global policies & procedures in responsible countries. Provide inputs on local context/requirements/suggested improvements and ensure effective adaptation at all levels and compliance with the labor regulations and local requirements. 
4 Ensure the successful roll out of global HR initiatives and practices across the region. 
5 As needed, serve as primary liaison for all regional HR matters, e.g. focal points for group data collection, Thai expat management, Internal communications

Education

Bachelor Degrees in Human Resource Development or Business Administration or Commerce

Experience

- Minimum 10 years of progressive HR professional experience 
- Minimum 3 years supervisory or experience managing a team preferred
- Experience working abroad or global environment preferred
- Demonstrated success in managing and building relationship with management level

Knowledge

- Broad knowledge and experience in employment in various HR Fields e.g. law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, and training and development

Skills

- Change managment with effective interpersonal and analytical skills who is able to work seamlessly across countries, cultures, and organizational units required
- Demonstrated ability to work, manage, and meet competing deadlines in a fast-paced, high volume environment and on deadline; aptitude for problem solving and decision making needed
- Good written and verbal communication skills required.
- English fluency required
- Ability to regularly travel to countries within the region
