Job Purpose
Supervise and implement the breeding program at the GGP/GP/PS breeding sow farm
Select gilt breeds (male gilts, female gilts) to provide for the industry's business system
Job Description (Accountability)
1. For implementing breeding programs at GGP/GP/PS sow farms
- Management of the Noc sows herd history system, herd replacement plan, culling, etc.
- Supervise semen extraction, mating work, ear cutting regulations, and castration of piglets upon farrowing according to approved regulations.
- Evaluate and collect data related to appearance and productivity of piglets, gilts, breeding sows, and venom.
- Weekly, monthly, annual reports
- Comply with processes and regulations of the company, business industry and human resource and skills development activities,,,,
2. For performing selection of gilt breeds:
- Select and transfer male and female pigs to GGP, GP, PS
- Check productivity, evaluate appearance, survey productivity
- Manage selected breed records
- Planning, implementation, management reporting (excel, ppt, word, images, videos,,,,)
- Weekly, monthly, annual reports
- Comply with processes and regulations of the company, business industry and human resource and skills development activities...
