Job Purpose
Learning Solutions Design
- Be responsible for ensuring that learning initiatives support both overarching corporate objectives and specific business unit goals, while fostering effective learning design and implementation, and promoting widespread employee development.
- Be responsible for developing and executing innovative learning programs that address current and future skill requirements, ensuring widespread employee development.
Learning Advisory
- Be proactively consult with various business units, providing expert guidance on learning and development best practices. This includes conducting needs analysis, formulating tailored solutions, and driving the adoption of new learning approaches.
- Be responsible for establishing robust mechanisms for monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on learning outcomes, demonstrating clear links between development initiatives and business performance.
Job Description (Accountability)
Strategic Learning Alignment
- Meet with Business Unit leaders to understand their learning needs and strategic priorities.
- Develop learning plans that align with both organizational objectives and specific business unit goals
Capability Gap Analysis and Learning Initiative Implementation
- Design and oversee the implementation of learning programs that address identified capability needs.
- Implement a framework for measuring learning effectiveness, including metrics on program completion, skill acquisition, and application.
Strategic Learning Advisory
- Prepare and deliver presentations to management on how learning initiatives support business objectives.
- Implement learning analytics tools to track and analyze program effectiveness also conduct regular analysis of learning data to identify areas for improvement.
Competencies
Education
Experience
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in learning and development roles within a large, complex organization.
- Analyze trends and directions related to employee learning and development, to assess opportunities and gaps in organizational learning
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to align learning initiatives with business priorities.
- Exposure to diverse learning modalities, including face-to-face training, e-learning, and digital learning solutions.
- Background in managing learning and development projects from conceptualization to delivery.
Knowledge
- Develop and implement strategic learning and development frameworks.
- Design and oversee training programs that align with business unit goals.
- Collaborate with HR business partner to identify and address skill gaps.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and make improvements.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
