Job Purpose

Control the packaging machine and package the food efficiently and with quality according to standards and the planned schedule

Job Description (Accountability)

1. **Machine Inspection and Adjustment before Operation**
   - Check and adjust the machinery before starting.
   - Verify the accuracy of printing equipment and set the distance for thread cutting after sewing.
   - Prepare the required number of bags according to the food type to be packed.
   - Inspect the safety equipment attached to the machinery.
2. **Packaging Operation**
   - Coordinate with the warehouse department to deliver to the next process.
   - Control the machinery operation according to the specified start-up procedures.
   - Package and sew the food according to the specified procedures.
   - Maximize the packaging capacity of the machinery.
   - Clear food and dust from the tank to keep it clean.
3. **Quality Control and Inspection**
   - Randomly check the weight and frequency as specified.
   - Check the percentage of dust.
   - Inspect the physical characteristics.
   - Check the sewing and printing on the side of the bag.
   - Verify the number of packed bags against the weight reported by the production control.
   - Randomly sample and collect packaged food samples for the laboratory.
4. **Maintenance of Packaging Machinery**
   - Maintain and extend the life of the sewing machine.
   - Inspect the sifting screen before it goes into the weighing machine.
   - Verify the weight of the weighing machine.
   - Clean the machinery, slides, and tank in the packaging process.
   - Lubricate and maintain the machinery and air system.
5. **Cleaning of Packaging Machinery**
   - Perform regular cleaning of the machinery used in the packaging process.

Education

Experience

Experience is not required.

Knowledge

1. Knowledge of quality standard systems such as ISO, GMP-HACCP, SHE, and others.
2. Knowledge of animal feed production processes.
3. Knowledge of cleaning machinery and work areas.
4. Basic computer skills.

- Skilled in daily machinery inspection
- Skilled in inspecting animal feed during packaging
- Skilled in handling situations when the feed does not meet specifications
- Skilled in inspecting machinery during shutdown
