Job Purpose

As an experienced para-professional in repair and maintenance electrical, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in the maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to perform maintenance tasks efficiently.

Job Description (Accountability)

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including lighting, wiring, and control systems.
Diagnose electrical issues and troubleshoot malfunctions to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
Perform electrical installations and upgrades in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Inspect electrical components, identify potential hazards, and recommend preventive measures.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to coordinate electrical maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks.
Document maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and upgrades, and maintain accurate records.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior maintenance staff and assist in their skill development.
Stay updated with industry best practices, safety protocols, and emerging technologies in electrical maintenance.

Competencies

Education Description

Education (Max. 2 Major)

Experience

Proven experience in electrical repair and maintenance, particularly in commercial or industrial facilities

Knowledge

In-depth understanding of electrical systems, components, and controls
Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and technical drawings
Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance in electrical maintenance
Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and standards
Experience with electrical maintenance software or systems is an advantage
