Job Responsibilities

  • Drive Sales Growth: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and market share targets for CPF’s pet food products in China.
  • Market Development: Identify new business opportunities, expand distribution channels, and strengthen presence in key pet food markets (retail, e-commerce, veterinary clinics).
  • Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and strategic partners to ensure long-term business growth.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to provide insights for product positioning and pricing strategies.
  • Brand Promotion: Collaborate with marketing teams to implement promotional campaigns and trade marketing activities that enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
  • Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts, track performance against targets, and report progress to senior management.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to CPF’s quality standards, regulatory requirements, and ethical business practices in all sales activities.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with supply chain, R&D, and finance teams to ensure timely product availability and cost efficiency.


Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Animal Science, or related field.
    Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience in the pet food industry or FMCG sector, with strong knowledge of China’s pet food market.
  • Skills:
    • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
    • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
    • Proficiency in Mandarin and English (written and spoken).
      Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and modern trade channels in China.
  • Competencies:
    • Results-driven with ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
    • High adaptability to dynamic market conditions and cultural nuances.
    • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
  • Other: Willingness to travel extensively within China and occasionally overseas.
