Job responsibilities
- Research and develop new products and improve existing ones in line with the production line.
- Set product standards, raw materials, packaging, production processes, and packaging.
- Establish product shelf life and manufacturing confirmation.
- Prepare sample products (new products) to present to customers and conduct trials in the production line.
- Source and procure raw materials, packaging, and equipment, including budgeting for research expenses.
- Supervise experiments and study relevant laws related to production and registration.
- Carry out Bill of Materials (BOM) and Manufacturing Master Control (MMC) into the SAP system in preparation for sales.
- Prepare objective analysis of products within the organization, providing advice and consulting to solve technical product problems.
- Perform tasks as assigned by superiors.
- Train and develop the skills of subordinates.
- Adhere to the factory's quality systems (GMP&HACOOP, ISO9000, SHEMS, 5S).
Job requirements
- Master's degree in Food Science and Technology or Industrial Agricultural Product Development.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in research and development of food products.
- Knowledge and ability in food product research and development, including statistical experimental design.
- Sensory testing experience.
- Knowledge of international quality standards systems (ISO9000:2001, GMP&HACCP) and training in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards.
- Familiarity with food laws (FDA, Department of Livestock Development standards, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Ministry of Public Health).
- Proficiency in the English language in all aspects.
- Good basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of raw materials, packaging, and processed products.
- Understanding of manufacturing techniques, laboratory, and factory operations.
- Strong coordination and interpersonal skills, capable of managing and organizing tasks.
