Job Description (Accountability)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and service high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems, including transformers and electrical control panels in the production line.
  • Inspect and analyze the performance of electrical systems in laboratories and production areas to prevent production downtime.
  • Plan and execute preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues such as short circuits, overloads, or equipment malfunctions.
  • Coordinate with mechanical engineering and production teams to ensure electrical systems align with food manufacturing processes.
  • Comply with electrical safety standards such as IEC, IEEE, and food industry standards like GMP and HACCP.
  • Prepare inspection and maintenance reports and propose system improvement plans.
  • Support installation of new electrical systems and upgrades to existing systems for better efficiency.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members on safe operation and maintenance of electrical systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical system maintenance in industrial plants (experience in the food industry is an advantage).
  • Knowledge of high-voltage systems, transformers, electrical control panels, and backup power systems (UPS, Generator).
  • Skilled in using electrical analysis tools such as Oscilloscope, Power Analyzer, Thermal Scanner.
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and ability to work under pressure.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Possession of a Professional Engineering License (PE) will be considered an advantage.
