Job Purpose

AXONS is seeking a Senior Application Governance & Platform Support Engineer (Tech Consultant) to act as the technical gatekeeper and trusted advisor for applications created through AI-assisted development and vibe coding. The role combines architecture and code review, production-readiness governance, and hands-on coaching for internal builders.

Job Description (Accountability)

• Key Responsibilities

  • Review architecture, business logic, APIs, data flow, dependencies and production readiness.
  • Assess AI-generated code for maintainability, testability, approved patterns and technical debt.
  • Advise and coach internal vibe coders from idea, design and implementation through remediation and release.
  • Classify applications by scope and risk, and recommend the appropriate technical review path.
  • Validate test evidence, change records, rollback plans and application lifecycle ownership.
  • Develop technical review checklists, reference architectures, templates and playbooks.
  • Collaborate with Security, Product Delivery, Infrastructure, Product Owners and Muze.

  Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related field.
  • At least 5 years in software engineering, solution architecture, technical consulting, DevOps or platform engineering.
  • Hands-on ability to review source code, APIs, integrations and application design.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, CI/CD, testing, release management and production support.
  • Strong consulting, coaching, documentation and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Experience with AI-assisted development, vibe coding, low-code or internal developer platforms is an advantage.
