Job Description

  • Oversee and lead the end-to-end operation of all warehouses and distribution centers, including receiving, storage (ambient, chilled, frozen as applicable to dairy products), picking, shipping, and workforce management.
  • Manage, optimize, and leverage advanced automation systems, including Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS), Mini-Load systems, Pick-to-Light, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and integration with Enterprise Resource Planning and robotics.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean Manufacturing, Plan-Do-Check-Act and Six Sigma to enhance process efficiency, throughput, and operational safety.
  • Ensure highly accurate inventory records across all storage locations, utilizing tools such as Cycle Counting and ABC Analysis for effective management of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG)/dairy stock.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor the departmental budget, cost forecasts, and capital expenditure requests, ensuring strict cost control and resource allocation effectiveness.
  • Plan and execute major supply chain projects, such as warehouse relocations, expansion, or the commissioning of new automated facilities, ensuring zero disruption to existing operational continuity.
  • Manage the overall Inbound & Outbound transport management, ensuring goods are delivered On Time In Full domestically and to regional export hubs in the most effective and efficient manner.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all local and international transportation laws, food safety regulations, and trade compliance for all logistics activities.
  • Collaborate closely with Supply Chain Management, Sales, and Production to harmonize resource needs, balance service levels, manage contractual requirements, and optimize overall supply chain flow.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing warehouse and logistics team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and adherence to high standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related fields.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Transportation management, with at least 5 years at a senior management level overseeing large-scale operations and complex automation systems.
  • Industry Background: Proven experience in managing high-volume warehousing, transportation, and distribution within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods), Food Business (Dairy/Beverage preferred), or high-tech manufacturing industries.
  • Strong experience with ASRS, WMS, ERP, Integration, robotics , Lean /Six Sigma and  process improvement skills 
  • Financial Acumen: Analytical mindset with solid skills in financial planning, budgeting, cost analysis, and capital expenditure management.
  • Leadership & Communication: Exceptional leadership ability in managing large teams, coupled with excellent planning, professional presentation, and communication skills (in English and local language).
  • Ability to work independently, manage stress under high-pressure environments, and willingness to work a demanding schedule (e.g., 6 days per week) to ensure operational success.
