Responsibilities
The Engineering and Maintenance Manager will assume comprehensive responsibility for overseeing the engineering operations and maintenance activities of machinery and equipment within the manufacturing facility. Key duties include:
- Planning, directing, and managing preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure optimal machinery performance and minimize downtime.
- Leading, mentoring, and coordinating a skilled team of maintenance engineers and technicians to execute maintenance tasks efficiently and safely.
- Developing training initiatives and continuous professional development programs to enhance team capabilities and technical expertise.
- Monitoring machine performance and maintenance protocols to ensure strict compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and operational procedures.
- Conducting root cause analyses to diagnose and resolve production and maintenance issues, while proposing innovative improvements to engineering and maintenance systems.
- Managing budget allocations related to engineering and maintenance departments, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising on quality or safety.
- Driving the adoption of new technologies and engineering practices to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiencies.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with other departments to optimize production processes and support engineering improvements across the plant.
- Ensuring adherence to Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) guidelines and work instructions, fostering a culture of safety and compliance aligned with international standards such as ISO environmental management, local labor laws, and industry safety certifications.
The role demands proactive leadership to maintain equipment integrity, optimize maintenance workflows, and contribute to the plant’s sustainable growth and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field is required.
- Proven experience of at least 3 to 5 years in mechanical engineering roles, particularly within manufacturing industries, demonstrating hands-on expertise in machinery maintenance and engineering management.
- Strong proficiency in designing, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems and industrial machinery to ensure robust operation.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a creative engineering mindset geared towards continuous system improvements and innovative solutions.
- Familiarity with engineering software applications such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks is essential for technical design, drafting, and maintenance planning.
- Location: Work will be based at the Nong Khae Aquatic Feed Factory, Saraburi Province, where you will engage closely with production and engineering teams.
- Work schedule includes six working days per week, with one day off, operating from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM to cover all maintenance shifts effectively.
