We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Sustainability Specialist to lead and support sustainability initiatives across our supply chain operations. This role is pivotal in driving our commitment to sustainable sourcing, environmental stewardship, and alignment with global sustainability goals such as the UN SDGs. The ideal candidate will collaborate across departments and with external partners to embed sustainable practices into procurement, logistics, warehousing, and supplier engagement.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement supply chain sustainability strategies aligned with corporate goals and global standards.
2. Conduct sustainability due diligence, including supplier audits (desktop and onsite), risk assessments, and compliance checks.
3. Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to integrate sustainable practices into sourcing, transportation, and warehousing.
4. Support the execution of the company’s sustainability roadmap, including goals for 2030 and beyond.
5. Engage with suppliers to promote sustainability awareness and improvement initiatives.
6. Monitor and report on sustainability KPIs, including food/feed safety, Supplier audit program, and responsible sourcing metrics.
7. Prepare sustainability reports and disclosures for internal and external stakeholders.
8. Promote sustainability training and awareness across the organization.
   
   
   

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sustainability, supply chain, or procurement roles.
• Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with data analysis and sustainability reporting tools.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
  
  

  Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with supplier engagement and audit programs.
  • Knowledge of Food safety / Feed safety standard including the experience with labor regulatory, SMETA, amfori-BSCI, SA8000 or equivalent standards.
  • Certification in sustainability or supply chain (e.g., GRI standard , Human right due diligence, Carbon footprint) is a plus.
