Job Purpose

As the Director of Procurement Business Operations at Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Co., Ltd., you will play a pivotal role in shaping and managing comprehensive labour relations strategies that uphold the company’s commitments to fairness, compliance, and operational excellence. Your primary purpose is to oversee and direct policies and procedures governing labour relations, disciplinary frameworks, and investigative functions, ensuring alignment with both internal governance standards and prevailing labour laws, including those pertinent to the People's Republic of China.

This position demands a strategic leader who can navigate complex legal landscapes, guide supervisory staff, and foster a workplace conducive to trust and mutual respect. Job Description (Accountability)

Your accountabilities include the development, implementation, and continuous review of robust labour relations policies and procedures that support the company’s business objectives and legal obligations. You will provide authoritative advice and practical guidance to management and supervisors on various human resources and labour relations issues, ensuring consistent application of policies.

Key responsibilities involve overseeing disciplinary procedures and managing sensitive investigations related to misconduct and compliance issues. You will coordinate with legal advisors and external authorities during labour disputes or litigation including cases escalation to labour courts or inspectors. Ultimately, you will safeguard the company's reputation and employee relations by maintaining transparent, fair, and legally compliant processes.

In your role, you will also lead initiatives to enhance understanding of labour laws within the organization through training and development programs, fostering a compliant and informed workplace culture.

Education

Bachelor Degrees
Master Degrees in Political Science or Law

Experience

You possess over two decades of extensive experience in senior roles related to labour relations, with a strong track record of leadership in managing complex investigations into fraud and other misconduct. Your executive-level expertise includes successfully handling cases before labour courts and inspectors, as well as overseeing labour dispute mediations and grievance management effectively.

Your professional journey showcases a deep understanding of disciplinary processes, negotiation tactics, and legal adherence, facilitating constructive resolutions in sensitive organisational matters.
