Job Description

  • Monitoring, inspecting, disease prevention and diagnosis measures, animal health management, use of vaccines and antibiotics in company farms and promotion farms to produce efficient products and food safety standards for consumers.
  • Implement contingency plan measures in case of finding new emerging diseases to prevent and minimize damage to business operations.
  • Training to provide knowledge on disease and disease prevention to farm personnel and in accordance with the standards of the Department of Livestock Development.
  • Provide veterinary care and health management for poultry operations, including broilers, layers, breeders, and hatcheries.
  • Develop and implement vaccination, disease prevention, and biosecurity programs.
  • Monitor flock health, mortality rates, and production performance to ensure optimal farm productivity.
  • Investigate disease outbreaks and provide corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Provide technical and veterinary consultation to farm operations, customers, and internal teams.
  • Supervise the proper use of medications, vaccines, and veterinary supplies in compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as Farm Operations, Production, Hatchery, Feed Mill, QA, and Technical teams.
  • Analyze farm and health performance data and prepare reports with recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay updated on poultry diseases, veterinary technologies, and industry trends.
  • Support training and knowledge sharing related to poultry health management and biosecurity standards.

Job Specification

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Veterinary Medicine.
  • Valid Veterinary Professional License.
  • Experience in poultry veterinary services, livestock industry, or poultry business is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of poultry health management, disease control, vaccination programs, and biosecurity systems.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Good command of English communication and technical reading.
  • Able to travel upcountry as required.
  • Experience in Technical Service or Avian Health Management will be an advantage.
